A schools leadership team is often referred to as the SLT (Senior Leadership Team) or SMT (Senior Management Team). The SLT/SMT is the decision making body of the school and integral to a schools success and direction. They play a major role in the day-to-day running, as well as an overarching responsibility for the strategic vision of the school.
